Community Care Direct Ltd. will provide the highest level of service and care possible. This is achieved by ensuring that all our staff are experienced, trained and updated in their knowledge on a regular basis. All care staff acheive the following mandatory courses:

- Food and Hygiene
- Abuse
- First Aid
Community Care Direct Ltd. encourages all staff to undertake specialised courses that they feel will benefit the Service User's needs. These can include:
- Dementia
- Palliative Care
- Infection Control
- Safe Handling of Medicines
Community Care Direct Ltd. are very selective when recruiting staff members and will only employ highly motivated, experienced and committed individuals.
Every member of staff employed by Community Care Direct Ltd. has undertaken an Enhanced Police Disclosure. No member of staff undertakes any duties alone until a clear crime check has been returned to the office. This ensures the Service User feels safe and secure within their own homes.
All staff wear a distinctive uniform, ash blue tunic with navy blue trousers. All staff wear an Identification Badge, which has the company's full address, contact number and the member of staff's name and photo.
Community Care Direct Ltd. does not have a high turnover of staff. This is due to Community Care Direct Ltd. making sure that the Service User's needs are matched by the carer's professional abilities.
Community Care Direct Ltd. maintains our standards of care by continually assessing and monitoring our staff. Our Working Practices, Policies and Procedures are audited and inspected by the Commission for Social Care Inspection on a regular basis, as we are registered with CSCI.
Community Care Direct Ltd. has a full publice liability insurance. This is issued by Zurich Insurance. |
