Mrs Sarah Mellor - Managing Director |

Sarah Mellor founded Community Care Direct in early 2004 after finding that there was a need for dedicated care service in various sectors of the care services profession. Her experience within the care industry has given her a unique insight into the needs, specialisations and staff required to provide a full and well rounded care service which has been recognised by the Great British Care Awards of 2010 & 2011. Further to this Sarah Mellor has just been nominated for the 2011 Small Business Award by Sefton's Chambers of Commerce. |

Christine Vaughan - Office Manager |
I started working for Community Care Direct in October 2008 as a receptionist and in 2010 completed an NVQ 4 in Business Administration. I have gradually taken on more responsibilities which has led to a promotion to office manager. I enjoy a varied workload from liaising with staff , service users and health professional to the day to day running of the office and I am also responsible for the home help side of the business. I am proud to have played a part in the company’s journey and growth and look forward to all future developments. |

I have been with CCD for nearly 5 years. My job title is care co-ordinator and my job role is to work closely with service users and staff, to train new staff and to supervise all care staff. Since being with CCD I have obtained my NVQ level 3 and attended all mandatory training courses as well as a number of other training courses which are relevant to my field of work. |

I have been with CCD as a full time carer for nearly 3 years, after 12 months I was promoted to care co-ordinator. My role at CCD involves working closely with staff and service users to help maintain a high standard of care, one of my key roles with the company is to train new staff to become excellent carers. |
